Who can see what

Everyone on a roster has a role, and the role decides the screens and the notices.

Where to do it: Anywhere.

Step by step

1. 1

   Owner: you. Everything, including the subscription and who is on the team.

   Runs the roster: a partner or another parent. Can change anything on the roster; cannot touch billing.

3. 3

   Helps run the roster: a support coordinator or a helper. Can put people on shifts and send the week. Arrives without permission to see what you pay anybody, unless you give it.

4. 4

   View only: someone who wants to check the week and change nothing. They see the roster when they open it and get no notices.

5. 5

   Support worker: sees their own shifts, their own rates with you, and nothing about anyone else you employ or any other family.

Worth knowing

• Invite household members and helpers by email from Your Team. Only the owner can add someone who helps run the roster.
• Roles can be changed on Your Team without removing anybody. The one thing that never happens is a support worker being moved into the household side — that needs a fresh invite.
• Rosters never see each other. If a worker is busy with another family, the most you ever see is an anonymous "unavailable".
• Shiftaroo support cannot see your roster either, unless you let us in with a code, for 30 minutes, read-only.
